As you may have seen while browsing the many galleries and 2000+ images on our website, Molly Limpet's is able to cater for most themes that you can think of. Since 2001, we have dressed themed weddings for our clients across the UK, with popular options being Medieval, Tudor, Georgian Masquerade, Rock n Roll, Great Gatsby, and even Alice in Wonderland.

We understand that having a themed wedding may be the bride/groom's, bride/bride's, groom/groom's personal choice, but sometimes their guests are not initially as receptive to the idea. However, our job is to make sure each guest attending the special day of your friend or family member is wearing something that is comfortable, looks great, they will ultimately enjoy wearing, and will look fantastic on the photographs!

Our happy couples tie the knot in all sorts of locations, including castles, stately homes, the local pub, and even the grounds of their own homes, and we have the resources to cater for all their needs. Our expertise has seen us produce costumes for the BBC's Don't Tell the Bride on two occasions (including their Christmas Special).

The Process:

Costumes can be either hired from existing stock, or we offer a bespoke tailoring service where we can make unique outfits for the bridal party to either buy or hire, depending on your budget and requirements. This will be done through our theatrical costume department in our private Costume Studio, and all guests are welcome to have fittings at our shop premises, open six days a week.

Many happy couples include our details in the wedding invites so that guests know exactly where to go if they want a simple booking process, with a professionally made, clean costume.
