Producing the wardrobe for Sister Act was such an exciting design and manufacturing process. Molly Limpet's continues to receive great feedback on the quality and styling of our Sister Act costumes, which we based on the West End concept of the nuns having four full costume changes (as opposed to just tabard changes, as in the tour version). A lot of time and research was invested in giving garments the quality, glitz and glamour expected by our customers and audiences alike. The nuns' finale costumes alone have metres of fabric and thousands of individual sequins in each sleeve.
We have the fitting of Eddie's 'trick' costumes down to a fine art to ensure that it never fails on any performance. Your actor would be required to visit us for a fitting, but it is worth it for his peace of mind.
